Hi Wah, Great to see you last night at the Coral Gables church. You are solid as well as soft. When I woke up this morning to meditate, I thought of what you said last night. That the mind can do whatever it does and I can still continue to invoke the essence of love and God through my heart.
Thank you for guiding me and people all over the world. R. 2/18/08 5:12 AM
hi R. that is an important recognition: that the mind can do whatever it wants and you can still continue to invoke the essence of love and God. how many times do we stop because we think: “oh this isn’t working”! or any other comment from the mind. it is Continuing to invoke Love which creates the connection. and really that is all we need don’t you think?
I went to yoga class this morning and the instructor said, “there is a lunar eclipse tomorrow... a good time for cleaning out closets, cleaning out your past... and the beautiful thing is, you don’t have to do any of the cleaning, the Universe does it for you!” everyone in the class laughed. we have all experienced cleansing and renewal from a ferocious Universe and the teacher didn’t mean to make a joke but it was incredibly funny. love to you, wah Feb 19, 2008, at 5:08 PM
Wah, What you are saying on the working of the mind and the invoking of love and God is so simple and yet so easy to bypass or even not be aware of. In my case, I notice I am often frustrated at not accomplishing what I want because I don't make a distinction between who I am and what I do. If I don't achieve what I want, I feel I am not good enough and fall short of my true capacity. In the process, my connection with god is lost or at least not in my conscious awareness and this results in less ease, relaxation, and compassion (for self and others). Wah! So the question is how do I practice staying connected to God? Any ideas, suggestions, etc? Your voice connects me to God immediately. Thank you so much for responding. Look forward to the surprises ahead. R Tuesday, February 19, 2008 3:06 PM
R-I have started several emails to you and trashed them all. what you are asking is how to create and retain a heart centered energy for yourself. the higher chakras cannot be talked about, they must be transmitted. hence, the existence of rinpoches, teachers and saints – they sit in higher frequencies and the students absorb and learn what they are by being in them with their teachers. I just wrote an article for a magazine about our discussion: keeping the heart energy going while doing tasks, chores, studying... (which are necessary aspects of life but they shouldn’t dominate). the heart frequency needs to be rotating and active all the time; indeed it should be dominant. but how to do that? it has to be called forth. chanting definitely helps. you have studied so much and are so learned, it would be impossible to discuss higher frequencies using words. you would approach it with your mind. heart/intuition/soul are the frequencies that beg to be opened in you. my advice? pray. that always works. the Universe manifests all kinds of people in response to your prayers and requests. someone or many people will show up. and in the meantime, I am happy to talk with you. I spend some time at the computer and raising my daughter, and the rest of my time is spent walking, meditating, healing, and creating sacred space. om shanti, wah Sunday, Feb 24, 2008 9:20pm

Wah. Burlington. Amazing ....You literally blew the doors off the place. Fantastic version of Hari Krishna. at first I thought "they are too much music for this space" and "I miss Elijah( the drummer you had with you at Omega in 2006)" and "this space is too small and I'd love to mix the music down and bring up her voice." After Hari Krishna it all became moot.... great ecstatic trance. thank you, Mark 1/7/08 5:03 PM
mark, thanks for your kind words. I too missed elijah on those performances. he is doing most of my east coast dates but not all of them- trying to establish a home and job and all that... and I know what you mean about the bigness of the sound; the drumkit changes everything. I had to get a punchier bass, for one. ... but our goal is to do big stages and festival settings, so we have to grow into the bigger sound now. thanks for putting up with us as we grow, and thanks for your amazing transformation into bliss energy that night. that’s the whole point of doing the music in the first place. so glad you came! jai radhe, wah 1/9/08 4:25PM

Wah!, I saw you at Kripalu on New Year's Eve. You were so, so great! Is the reggae hare krishna, hare rama you opened with on one of your albums? All best, George 1/5/08 9:00 AM
hi george, it is "KAINCHI HARE KRISHNA" from Hidden in the Name. but you know, we've been playing it for so long now, I'm sure the live version was a bit evolved from the original you will hear on the CD. still, a beautiful track. I'd like to get the ProTools recording thing set up, so people can buy the recording of the concert the night of.... I'll put that on my list of "things to manifest in 2008!" joy and light for the new year, wah 1/9/08 4:31PM

Wah! Thank you once again for your phenomenal energy and talent in celebration of the year's end and the transformational path open to us all in the coming year. In our closing meeting for the Saptah chanters, many of our team spoke of your words in addition to your sound. You touched us all in a wonderous way, making this Saptah a most joyeous and reverent one as we completed our Om Namah Shivaya. As I shared with you in the Dining hall on New Year's day, thank you for your love and devotion to spirit and the sounds through which your love shines onto to all of us. Have a blessed year. Laura Estan, Assistant Director- Saptah 1/5/08 10:22 AM
laura, I was very touched by your email. thank you for expressing such a beautiful connection between us. as I listened to the end of saptah preceding the concert, I remembered how many of them I have done, how tied in I am to the ashram rhythms and events, and how beautiful an energy you all created with your chanting. Thank you for recognizing our connection in spirit. and in sound. my love to you all. radhe, wah 1/9/08 1:24 PM
