The strength of Wah!'s voice provides the centerpiece for the songs, each of which showcases the lithe nature of the artist's singing. The style could best be described as "acoustic folk," which perfectly fits the introspective lyrics. M/USA   Your liner notes mention how it often seems that when you begin working on yourself, things start changing rapidly and sometimes you're left with nothing. I realize how odd this may sound, however I found a sense of comfort in that admission; something I had experienced in my own life and was left wondering, "Were these supposed to be improvements?!" Having found your experience to be similar, I realized that when the tectonic plates of spiritual growth shift, everything gets moved - sometimes all at once. These things needed to happen. At the time, I couldn't appreciate that. After the dust had settled, I began to see how these rapid changes conspired to propel me forward.
