Attend an evening of chanting with bandleader Wah! on Feb 24. Her music vibrates with dep healing sounds. In between songs, she tells stories to give people a perspective on spiritual work.

How does music relate to the spirit?
Your voice has the capacity to heal. By its very nature, it sends a vibration internally throughout the body. Each person’s voice is unique, like a fingerprint.

How can spiritual chanting make a person healthier?
It gives you reprieve from your mind so that your heart can open.

At your performances, what message do you give your audience?
Life as we know it has sped up. Computers are faster, tehcnology is faster, our own lives may have multiple karmas and overlapping life obligations. Yoga and chanting is a way that I have found to help clear my energy and slow down.
